Creating Multiple Domains, Trees, and Forests

Multiple Domains, Trees, and Forests
Multiple Domains, Trees, and Forests are created by repeatedly using Active Directory Installation Wizard.

1. Restart your computer and log on as Administrator.
2. Click Start and then click Run. In the Run dialog box, type dcpromo in the Run
     box and click OK.
3. On the Welcome To The Active Directory Installation Wizard page, click Next.
4. On the Operating System Compatibility page, click Next.
5. On the Domain Controller Type page, select Domain and then click Next. The Create New Domain page appears as shown in the following fig.




6. Go to step 7 for creating Multiple Domains, step 8 for creating multiple trees and step 9 for creating multiple forests.
7. On the Create New Domain page, select Child Domain in an Existing Domain    Tree, and then follow on-screen instructions till it gets finished.
8. On the Create New Domain page, select Domain Tree in an Existing Forest, and then follow on-screen instructions till it gets finished.
9. On the Create New Domain page, select Domain in a New Forest and then click Next.
10. On the New Domain Name page, type the complete DNS name of the New Forest root domain in the Full DNS Name for New Domain box, and then click Next. Follow the on-screen instructions till it gets finished.
